Design To Go Case Study – Midnight Mood

We had several fun Design To Go  appointments kick off in January and we can’t wait to see them come together. Our DTG service leaves you with a full design plan and every finish selected so you’re able to manage your construction project with ease.

Today we’re sharing a moody, spa-like escape we designed a few weeks ago.

Let’s take a look at the before:

Honestly this is probably the best before we have ever seen. It was not overly dated but it wasn’t functioning for the client’s needs and it wasn’t their style at all.

The Dislikes

  • too small
  • fragmented sink areas
  • lack of color
  • no tub
  • shower shelf space too short for certain bottles
  • limited linen storage
  • too much medicine cabinetry
  • boring and stark overall

The Wishlist

  • shower with temperature that can be automatically set
  • a fancy Toto bidet toilet
  • drawer outlets for dryer etc.
  • bathtub
  • more color and visual interest
  • better overall function

We were so excited to get to work on this project. The tile is a complete showstopper and they are going to get so much function out of the space.

The Finishes

The client requested more color, an elevated vibe, and a moody space. Can you see it yet? During the client meeting, we select and work together to come up with the layout and design finishes. At the same time, we are showing the client their space in our 3D rendering software. After our meeting, the renderings are refined to give a true picture of the space. Check out how this one turned out. We are especially happy with the balance of all the materials, the textures, the colors and just the overall luxury of this moody bathroom.

In the box, the client receives the floor plan, renderings, construction spreadsheets specifying every item, and sample finishes.

It’s always best to bring your designer on as early as possible but we can help at almost any step of the process. Ready to kick off your renovation? Book your Design To Go appointment today to get started, or drop us an email with any questions.
