So you need a new sofa…

When we opened the Furniture Showroom, we knew it needed to solve some specific problems. The long and short of it? We want to give our local community access to pretty furniture that you can sit before you commit and that is going to last for decades. That’s right, we are talking about sofas that are not going to break down after one, three, or five years and are made to order just for you. Buy quality, buy once.

A bit about our furniture:

Our furniture is handmade in Norwalk, Ohio by Norwalk Furniture. The employee-owned company is dedicated to their craft and each piece of the production process has a specialist. The frame for your Somerset sofa? It is crafted by the same person each time. Norwalk has been dealing in upholstery since 1902. Many of their employees have been with them for decades, and several are 3rd and 4th generation artisans. Why does this matter? It’s important to us because it means that we are working with a company who’s values align with our own. They also give us the ability to design stunning, quality furniture for you.

Are you excited yet? Keep reading, it gets better.

By this point, you may be thinking “this all sounds great but what exactly do you mean by made to order and is it right for me?”

Made to order means nearly fully customizable for your space. We have hundreds of styles with thousands of combinations and so many fabrics to choose from. Don’t worry though, we narrow it down for you to make the selection process painless. That’s the beauty of this showroom being owned by designers! You have designer support throughout the whole process to get you the best piece for your home.

The $$$ question: How much will it cost?

We aren’t here to tell you that this furniture isn’t an investment- it certainly is! Our pricing is comparable to that of several big box stores like Crate & Barrel and Restoration Hardware. Why shop with us instead? Simple, our furniture is of higher quality and you get one-on-one design guidance tailored to your home and design aesthetic. You will also be supporting a local small business and purchasing American-made goods. These pieces are engineered to be heirloom quality which is a fancy way of saying you can pass them down through the family.

How long will it take?

Artisan made goods take time. Luckily, our furniture is all crafted under the same roof so lead times (at the time of this posting) generally run 16 weeks.
